(Crash= system freezes, blue screen, USB devices sporadically not working, Finder freezing during file moves and saves, and other weird things that just don't usually happen with my Mac.) My iMac is running pretty well after a "crash" that necessitated the OS reinstall, so I am hoping the problems are solved. I am trying to prop up my iMac and keep it running until I have the money for a new Mac, so I am trying to avoid and hardware upgrades if possible. Any chance that upgrading to 10.5 will fix this, or does it sound like a hardware problem? I just did a fresh install of the OS to fix the problem, and it is still iffy.
